wordless{ish} wednesday: there's just something about a post-nap baby.

flush pink cheeks.
warm, cuddly little bodies.
groggy puffy eyes.
and a well-rested, good mood.

there's just something about a post-nap baby, am i right?

{PS:  that last pic is my FAVE.  that is such a typical parker thing.  he points at everything, with his middle finger of course, and says "woooooooooow!"  oh my gosh i freaking love this kid.}

{PPS:  you noticed his shirt right?  because i mean... seriously.}

click if you agree.  or even if you don't.  but what kind of person doesn't like a warm squishy post-nap baby?  no one.

  1. I agree 100% when Z wakes up from his nap he is always so refreshed and sweet! He wants to kiss and hug and those pink cheeks are the best, I just want to squeeze the heck outta them! Z point at everything too but he doesn't talk AT ALL yet so he just says eeeehhhh eeeehhhh in his baby talk. I can't wait for him to talk so I know what he wants. But just up from naps babies are the absolute best in the whole world!!!

  4. Thank you for posting pictures of P-Ray in his crib. The recent pictures of him walking and sitting in a booth were making think this kid is growing way too fast--which means my kids are growing way too fast. He looks like his old self in his crib. I like it. =)

  6. I love me some post-nap baby. Mine is usually accompanied by some crazy bed head.
    Love the shirt too! I got the same one for my little dude the other day but it's too big for him. :( Oh well, I know he'll grow into eventually. I'll just admire it on Parker for now.

    p.s. I love that you have a white crib for a boy. I've always wanted a white crib and I would SO go for it if I had another, be it boy or girl.

    p.p.s. I have to get that shirt. Like now.

  10. Um guess what shirt my kid is wearing today? THAT shirt! I think I bought almost all those sesame street ones. If that one was bigger my husband would be wearing it - he believes the statement on the shirt applies to him :)
