you're killing me p-ray.

this kid?  killin' me right now.  he's killing me with hilarity, with sweetness, with personality, with defiance {ugh, epic battles over diaper changes}, and with his dance moves.  please refer to the video for the latter.

i finally feel like a mom & i actually feel like i have a kid.  i don't feel like i'm care taking some baby anymore.  parker is now my little buddy.  we have a great routine & i love our days together.  we get up, we talk about the weather, we eat our breakfast, we get ready for the day, we go work out, we run errands, we eat lunch, parker naps, i relax, parker wakes up, we play, sam gets home, we do something as a family, we have dinner, parker goes to bed, sam & i relax, sam goes to bed, i blog, i go to bed, i repeat.  it's great.

although the part where he's been waking up an hour earlier than usual?  not so great.

watching parker grow up is happening quicker than i'd ever imagined.  and it's way more fun than i'd ever imagined too.  seeing your kid figure out sweet dance moves is pretty much the coolest thing ever.  watching him take six or seven steps and be super proud of himself seriously makes my heart speed up.  having him pick up sign language & tell you when he wants to eat, drink milk, or have more of something makes me realize i'm actually teaching him things & he is actually learning.  it's amazing.

although, i don't think he learned these dance moves from me.  he must of gotten his rhythm from his dad.  yup, pretty sure.

can you spare a couple clicks for dancing babies?

  11. LOL! Break it down, P-Ray! Toddlerhood is one of the greatest things ever. I loved my little guy being a baby, but this new phase where we really play and laugh is so much better. :)

  12. Has he been watching Night at the Roxbury? Those are some killer moves!! Hannah's been waking up an hour early, too. Maybe they start sleeping less at this age?

  13. Totally off subject, but as I added my new little banner up on my blog, I started to think it looked familiar...and then I realized it looked a little like your page! So just wanted you to know that I am not purposely trying to jack your look! I can totally add somethng gawdy to offset any similarities, lol.

Christians only dance move is in sitting position, he will bounce up and down...I'm his mother and I think its a little dorky, lol...but cute dorky :)

  17. I'm lovin' his dance moves. I feel like maybe he picked them up after watching Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan dance in the car on SNL and in the movie 'Night at the Roxbury'...Pretty sure those are the same moves.
