wordless{ish} wednesday: the hat.

one of the most frequent questions i get through comments/emails/twitter/instagram/etc. is the following:

"how the heck do you get him to wear that hat?"

well, honestly he wouldn't at first.  we would put it on his head & off it came.  but we kept trying & finally this last summer he realized that wearing his hat would keep the sun out of his eyes, so he starting asking for it any time he stepped outside.

but to this day if he realizes he's wearing it indoors, off it comes.

goofball.

  11. He's so cute in his hats. Cannon won't wear them, and I knew he wouldn't keep the beard on with the gnome costume. What's a gnome costume without a beard??? I can't wait to see what P-ray is going to be! Happy Wednesday!

  14. bah! i've actually been meaning to ask that! ha. dane had one when he turned one, and he totally wore it with no problems. then it got too small. then we didn't have a new one for a while. now, when we try to put one on, he rips it off. i think if he would have kept wearing the one he had he would have been fine. but he didn't. and it bums me out because it's so stinking cute when they wear one. i always think parker looks adorable! anyway. i guess we'll just keep trying!
